BAMN activists try and stop affirmative action ballot

BAMN is short for By All Means Necessary. Activists from the group are actively engaged in attempts to disrupt petition circulators from gathering signatures for citizen ballot measures. In Arizona a petition for the November ballot concerning affirmative action is being circulated hoping to gather enough signatures to ask that affirmative action preferences be stopped. BAMN has taken offense, and loosed their activists in an attempt to stop the drive before it can get to the voters of Arizona. Outright lies and attempts to keep signed petitions from reaching sponsors have been documented. BAMN has a specific agenda, their web site spells it out, this group can be compared to the code pink operation. They operate in much the same way. If you run counter to their agenda spelled out in their web site, they will BAMN, and  stop you if they can. Remember, By All (Any) Means Necessary. For these people there are no rules.
