The Continuing Media Lynching Of Toby Keith

Max Blumenthal writing for the Huffington Post published a feature column last week with a not very flattering depiction of Toby Keith. Mr. Blumenthal is of the opinion that the song "beer for my horses" sung with ardent liberal icon Willie Nelson in the earlier part of the decade, advocates the lynching of blacks and Jews. To emphasize his point the author includes pictures of blacks and one Jewish man who had been lynched some 80 plus years ago. Here is the link in case any of you may have missed it:

Mr. Blumenthal has a new column at the Huffington Post continuing on with his previous theme of Toby Keith singing racially tinged songs. He then stereotypes Toby Keith as a typical Caucasian. There is no doubt left that the author is playing the race card loud and clear. The question is, why? This song has been around for the better part of the decade. Just 90 days before election time, the lyrics to this song somehow twists the authors shorts into a spectacular wedgie of perceived racism. Comments made by Toby Keith  on a recent show have the author in a state of literary apoplexy. Support for Toby Keith from his earlier article leaves the author dumbfounded, he refers to those who support Toby Keith as right wing trolls.

To give Obama credit he has tried to distance himself from this far left loony fringe and their politics of personal destruction. Unfortunately they insist on viewing the simplest forms of expression through the lens of their favortie obsession, racism. I hope readers will take a moment to view his article and forward it to every voter possible. It will be interesting to see if a significant number of other Americans share the views of this author.
