Whenever I see the word "bordello" in a sentence, the implication is very clear as to the intent. Bordello is not an innocent term commonly used to describe a work office, or a renovation of a work office. Another media publication, Salon, in a clever semantic article on Governor Palin. describes the renovation of her office when mayor, as a bordello type makeover. The core of the article attacks the money spent as a waste, and is critical of her decision to proceed with the renovation. However using the word "bordello" to describe the effect of the renovation is clearly a play on words. This article is cleverly done, and the implication clear, as unstated as it may be. , The Huffington Post also published a link to this article with he bordello term featured in the lead in. This article follows on the heels of the Obama lipstick on a pig remark that many feel was intentionally directed at Governor Palin. Comments? Is this unintentional?
